Christ's Humility

Biblical humility is not self-deprecation or weakness. It is a truthful, sober understanding of oneself before the Lord. For Christ—who is the Lord—humility meant the voluntary veiling of His divine glory (not the surrender of His divinity) in the weakness of human flesh.
